The 28th IFUW conference in Perth was
attended by SAWG's very own Laeimau Oketevi
Tanuvasa-Savea, Leatuolevao Ruby Vaa and Funealii
Lumaava Sooaemalelagi. The purpose of the conference
was to make decisions that will help in shaping what
IFUW and other organisations stand for. The week long
conference was a success where the participants met up
with old friends and also made new ones along the way.
Samoa's representatives returned with stories about
the conference, the people they meet and what they
wanted to implement within SAWG.
SAWG came third in the Bina Roy Category whereby
the associations from around the world submitted
projects for the competition.
The next IFUW conference will be hosted by the
British Federation of Women Graduates in Manchester in
2007.
